Accelerating India’s Digital Renaissance

India has historically made monumental contributions to global IT expansion, leveraged by its expansive pool of IT professionals. Capitalizing on its latent potential for innovation and growth, the nation is currently capturing the intense focus of global industry leaders and institutional investors, rapidly emerging as a pivotal player in the blockchain sector. The India Blockchain Week (IBW) 2023 was convened on December 6 and 7 at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Hosted by Hashed Emergent, this flagship event established itself as India’s largest global blockchain conference, convening a universe of over 2,000 participants, which encompassed more than 500 builders, 50 students, 55 investors and journalists, and 15 policymakers. Facilitating more than 45 diverse sessions, IBW firmly secured its title as India’s premier blockchain event. The conference featured a distinguished roster of 135 speakers, including Vitalik Buterin, Founder of Ethereum; Sandeep Nailwal, Co-founder of Polygon; Sébastien Borget, Co-founder of The Sandbox; and Simon Seojoon Kim, CEO of Hashed, among other prominent visionaries.
